A letter to Class 3 from Mr Deeming
Hello Class 3,
How are you all? I hope that everyone is doing well. I am really missing being in school and teaching you all and hopefully we can all be back there soon. I hope you are all doing lots of fun activities with your families.
I have been doing lots of fun activities at home with my family. I have been doing lots of baking with my little brother, we have made lots of different cakes! My favourite was definitely the chocolate cake! I have been going on long walks with my mum and dad and we have been playing a game to see who can see the most animals whilst on our walk. Maybe you can play this game too?
I have loved seeing all the hard work that you are all doing whilst you are at home! I know it isn’t easy to do work at home but you are all doing amazingly well! You have been doing so many activities on DB Primary and it is great to see those of you taking part in the activities on the forums. It is also great seeing you all doing work on Numbots, Teach Your Monster To Read, and Epic Reading.
Remember that Mr Deeming and Mrs Alonge have created a family learning section on our DB Primary home learning page to give you some ideas. Some of the activities include baking, going on minibeast hunts and arts and crafts. If you do complete any of these activities if you can, post a picture on the forum so I can have a look at what you have been doing!
Please make sure you are staying safe and I hope we all get to see each other again soon.
A letter to Class 4 from Mrs Alonge
Hello Class 4,
How are you? I really miss being in school with you all but I hope you are all keeping safe, well and enjoying the extra time you are having with your families.
I have been very very busy whilst being at home. I have been helping my eldest son with his school work (high school work is very tricky) and baking nice treats with him. So far, we have made Banana Bread with chocolate buttons, Malteaser Cheesecake and Shortbread biscuits. My baby has been keeping me very busy, as he likes toddling around the house and finding new things to explore. We have also used tissue paper to create a rainbow, painted pictures and played in the water tray. Have you spotted any rainbows whilst out on your daily walks? Maybe you could make a rainbow and put it in your window!
What I am really enjoying is all the hard work you are doing while you at home! You have been working hard completing the DB Primary activities, so many of you are taking part in the forum challenges and uploading your pictures and it’s also nice that you are enjoying the Numbots and reading websites.
Don’t forget there are many other ways to learn and I have created a family learning section on our DB Primary home learning page to give you some ideas. Some of the activities include baking, going on minibeast hunts and arts and crafts. If you do complete any of these activities if you can, post a picture on the forum so I can have a look at what you have been doing!
Please remember to stay safe and I am so looking forward to when we can all be back in school together.
